IP to Country

One of my customers runs an OSCommerce site and accepts payment in € £ $ using ePDQ. He recently suffered some credit card frauds. The IP address (81.192.43.42) was traced to Morroco (country code MA), even though the delivery and billing address was given as Spain. A facility to record the IP address of orders could have been enhanced to warn him that the actual country where the order was placed was Morroco which would at least have made him wary.

We can help you enhance or personalise your site using this freely available database, or you might want to pay a bit extra and track the IP address down to a city.
